All white

Today’s London weather is not the best, so I decided let me mind came back to the sweet warm time in Venice. Me and my boyfriend visited Venice in May. It was just the four days adventure, but full of nice suprising moments!

I have looked for the perfect pair of white jeans for a while. I found them in Topshop shortly before my holiday in Venice. White jeans is my must have this season! What do you think about all white outfits? 🙂

Goodbye Acton

Saying goodbye to Acton wasn’t an easy decision. I don’t like West London, was always more convinced to artistic East. Nevertheless the flat I rented in Acton, was the first flat I have ever rented in my life. I lived there for one year, I had the best possibly flatmate and I managed to build my life there…

The opportunity was amazing. We found new flat in Hackney, East London. My friends have always laughed that even though I lived in the West, I was only hanging out in the East… How could I say no to moving to my favourite part of London?

So I said yes and a few days before my long holiday in Poland I moved from the West London to the East London. I left unpacked bags and left to Poland… After a month I’m back. I’m back to Hackney. And everything is so new and different. I’m excited!

Above you can see probably the last pictures we took with my ex-flatmate in Acton. I have’nt posted them before. Maybe now it’s perfect time to do it. The sweet Acton memory…

The spontaneous photo shoot

Sophie caught me in the university library a month ago. She is the photography student, seeking for new models all the time. That was the day, when I just left the hairdresser with the lovely new haircut. She really wanted to take some pictures of me, so I spotaneously said… Yes! Here are the results! What do you think? 🙂

Burano Island

A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I decided to visit Venice. We spent a few days (and drunken nights) exploring this beautiful city, but one day we decided to see a few of the surrounding islands. One of them was Burano, an island full of colorful buildings! The perfect setting for an important photo shoot! Have a look! Isn’t this place adorable?!

London Fashion Week AW16

Hey guys! As I mentioned on my fanpage and as you can see on my Instagram, this year I attended my first London Fashion Week! Years ago, when I was a model and had opportunities to walk at fashion shows I felt I loved everything about them but something wasn’t quite right. The truth was I really wanted to attend fashion shows, be backstage and be involved, but not as a model… This year my dream came truth. As part of my intership for FMS magazine I was sent to many fashion shows and fashion events to write reviews for the FMS website. It was my very first fashion week as a journalist! It was an amazing experience, I met so many talented and experienced people from the industry! I could watch fashion shows live, take as many pictures as I want and… make notes in my lovely little notebook, just as I always dreamt. Have a look at my fashion week gallery!

IMG_0335That’s my outfit from Day 1 😉

I turned to street style photographer too! (It’s not me at this picture tho haha)

IMG_0338It was amazing to catch these popular people and then recognise them from pictures, while deleting pictures from my camera after a few days… Here very popular London model, Charlotte de Carle!

IMG_0797That’s my outfit from the last day! I broke my shoes this day…I loved them so much…

IMG_0736I met plenty of amazing people, one of them was Leni Bolt, a young designer from Berlin! He has such unique style and brand! Check him out here!

IMG_0386I have also got introtuced to Pandemonia, the star of every fashion event in London. Pandemonia is…a real walking doll! Such an artistic person, he never leave his doll skin!

Wear black or stay naked

The black colour in fashion has always had a power. And it always will. Black colour is a history on its own…

“I wore black because I liked it. I still do, and wearing it still means something to me. It’s still my symbol of rebellion — against a stagnant status quo, against our hypocritical houses of God, against people whose minds are closed to others’ ideas.” / Johnny Cash

“Women think of all colors except the absence of color. I have said that black has it all. White too. Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.” / Coco Chanel

“Black is modest and arrogant at the same time. Black is lazy and easy — but mysterious. But above all black says this: I don’t bother you — don’t bother me.” / Yohji Yamamoto

“There’s something about black. You feel hidden away in it.” / Georgia O’Keeffe

“I love black because it affirms, designs and styles. A woman in a black dress is a pencil stroke.” / Yves Saint Laurent

“Black is not sad. Bright colors are what depresses me. They’re so… empty. Black is poetic. How do you imagine a poet? In a bright yellow jacket? Probably not.”/ Ann Demeulemeester

“You can wear black at any time. You can wear it at any age. You may wear it for almost any occasion.”/ Christian Dior

“Women who wear black live colourful lives.” / Neiman Marcus

2015 through fashion glasses

As 2015 is already over, it is a high time to sum up that year. What has happened, what changed fashion world? Which collections we will always associate with 2015? Which events we will remember for a very long time? Which designers said “goodbye”? Let’s check it out and get ready for news in 2016! 🙂

  1. One of the most sad news was Raf Simons resignation from Dior. The spring/summer 2016 collection was his last one for Dior. He left his fans with words: “It is after careful and long consideration that I have decided to leave my position as creative director of Christian Dior’s women’s collection.” and “It is a decision based entirely and equally on my desire to focus on other interests in my life, including my own brand, and the passions that drive me outside my work.” Such a pity! _RAF0223                Spring/ Summer 2016 Menswear by Raf Simons  a08d1748d2b05fb3fd91822bf19b79d1                                           We won’t forget this face!
  2.    1443724564_rick-owen-paris-fashion-show-zoom

Do you remember this picture? This collection? Rick Owens shocked us with his Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2016 collection. We saw models carrying their colleagues upside down. The collection was created in certain way not without the reason. It has a message: “nourishment, sisterhood and motherhood, and regeneration”.

3. The exhibition Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty was opened from 14th of March untill 2nd of August 2015 in Victoria&Albert Museum in  London. It was the first and the largest retrospective of McQueen’s work, which has been presented in Europe so far. I remember people have talked about this exhibition non-stop. Amazing experience, which definietly we will remember for a very long time!

4. Here next sad leaving – Albert Elbaz left Lanvin. After fourteen years designer decided to leave the french house of fashion Lanvin. The reason of his decision is not known, but people talk that Elbaz wasn’t in very good contact with managment of the company. Their and his vision of presented clothes were very different. 1a830698e4f4dd861dc7e38060bf26c3

5. In July we also found out that Alexander Wang stoped working for Balenciaga. His contract hasn’t been extended. His place got Demna Gvasalia, who before has worked for Martin Margiela and Louis Vuitton. Is it better choice for Balenciaga?f751fb098b29acc290ec905000339c26

 Personally I loved Alexander Wang.Demna-Gvasalia-Vogue-7Oct15-Balenciaga-Twitter_b

Demna Gvasalia, new designer of Balenciaga.

6. I am not big fan of H&M & Balmain collection, but in fact it has been big news of 2015. Many people were queueing for a very long time to get one piece of Balmain, designed for H&M. Queues were massive, and excitement even bigger.

                                            Balmain and H&M campaign…

7. On the list of the celebrities, who fight to save rainforests is Vivienne Westwood, who in 2015 was even more dedicated to environmental issues. If you did not know yet, she is a large contributor in The Prince Charles Project and she has also created a line of T-shirts to help spread the word environmental awereness. T-shirts were photographed by Andy Gotts and many celebrities helped to promote this campaign. Vivienne Westwood is not only a designer, she is a great environmental activist. In last year we really did feel the climate change, so it is important to think a bit more about environment in next year and maybe finally do some actions about it (just like Vivienne Westwood :D)! 1425
